Hi, my name is María Teresa but people call me Mara—And I prefer it. I'm a Venezuelan who has been based in Spain since 2012. I've been a photographer, a dance filmmaker and a graphic designer; most of my design and film experience was built in designing specifically for theatre and dance companies.

My background as a theatre actor and a contemporary dancer has led me to understand photography and filmmaking through the lens of a former performer.

My latest project, CURIOSA, is The Monthly Short Film Showcase of Granada Spain.
